Toni Braxton‘s niece Lauren Braxton has passed away at just 24 years old.
Lauren, who was the daughter of Toni’s brother Michael Braxton Jr., died from complications from her heart condition, her father told TMZ.
Paramedics arrived around noon Monday at the Braxton's Maryland household, where they found Lauren unresponsive. She was declared dead at the scene.
Michael and Toni are the older siblings of Traci, Towanda, Trina and Tamar. Michael also is an established singer-songwriter and has appeared on episodes of his sisters’ reality show, “Braxton Family Values.”
A press release received from from the Public Relations firm of Capitol Public Relations who represents the decease's aunt and co-star of the WETV reality television show " The Braxton family values, Traci Braxton states: "Although Mrs, Traci Braxton understands the interest media outlets have in the news of her niece Lauren "LoLo" Braxton's passing: Mrs. Braxton will not be making any further direct comments or responding to interview requests at this time. We thank those who have offered well wished, sympathies and condolences."
Further comments included a warm statement from Mrs. Traci Braxton in stating:
